Behaviour for Learning

Students at Woodside High School are made aware through tutor programmes and other initiatives of the connection between good behaviour and productive learning. 

All classrooms display the below poster and students also receive their own individual pocket sized copy.

The school uses VivoMiles an electronic rewards and sanctions scheme designed to promote positive behaviour.  Students can use VivoMiles points to purchase prizes online.

Consistent methods are used throughout the school to deal with negative of disruptive behaviour, especially in the classroom.  The sanctions process is designed to enable students to reflect on the consequences of such behaviour.

Our latest Ofsted report commended on student behaviour throughout the school.
